Build photos Portable Stove: Installing a heat-resistant glass window

+
They shipped the wrong size. But since this wrong size is a square, I decided to go with it (mostly because I didn't want to wait).
+
Using the Dremel again, for making a notch.
+
I marked where the glass window should go, and built two guide rails to partly hold the window in place.
+
Now make the opening for the window at the front. Drill four holes and cut/grind a square with the Dremel.
+
First grinding disc breaks safely.
+
Second grinding disc breaks with the pieces flying around. Always wear safety goggles.
+
I get it done, finally. This is supposed to be square.
+
Using stove cord with adhesive already on it. To give the window a nice and sound-proof place.
+
Fireproof cord all around, to seal the gap between the door and the frame when closed.
+
Seems to fit. With the glass in place the door doesn't warp (glass is out on this photo).
+
Secure the glass in place with some nuts, bolts and rings.
+
It's sturdy, but not too much pressure on the glass.
+
Happy with the result. Can't wait to see the flames through this window.
